About the Practice
My approach is person-centred. Rather than giving advice or trying to diagnose you, I aim to understand your experience from your point of view. Together we create a space where you can explore whatever is happening in your life, at your own pace.
Some people attend for only one or two sessions around a particular difficulty, while others prefer longer-term, open-ended counselling. Both are welcome.
Who is Counselling for?
People come to counselling for many different reasons, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, burnout, feeling overwhelmed, or simply wanting someone to talk to.
You don't need a diagnosis, or even a clear reason, to begin. Many people simply feel that something isn't quite right, or want a place where they can think out loud without judgement.
What to expect
Sessions last 60 minutes and are available online or in person in Pringle Bay.
Person-centred counselling is less about receiving advice and more about having the freedom to explore your own experience. There is no expectation that you know exactly what to say. We simply begin wherever you are.
